| An Introduction to Scooters and Demo Ride

Test ride a Scooter and find out what all
the fun is about! Come on out and experience the joy of
riding a scooter in a fun, relaxed and safe environment. You will learn
the basics of the sport under the observant eye of our qualified instructors.
Is this course for me?
This "Introductory" course is suited for those who have never
ridden a scooter before, or for those who have had very little practice,
however have the skill to ride a bicycle. If you can ride a bicycle most
of the balance skills will have already been learned and its simple a
matter of learning to use the engine with some finessing in of the balance
skills.
This session also benefits students registered in the Basic Rider Course
(CYCL 010, 016, 120 or 150) wanting to take advantage of some extra-time
to learn the fundamental skills needed to make the transition to the full
program more seamless.
What will I learn?
We will teach you how to properly balance while moving and come to a safe
stop. You will move off under power at a very controlled pace and move
on to some fun exercises finishing with a short ride around to enjoy everything
that you have learned.
Note: this is not intended to replace
the full scooter rider courses.
It will merely pique your interest.
What do I get at the end of the course?
You will be familiar with the basic operation of the scooter and will
be prepared to move more confidently into one of the more advanced scooter
or motorcycle programs.

this session.

from the KYMCO Demo fleet after having shown sufficient proficiency.
