If you are an individual who changes vehicles on a regular basis (several days a week) or are considering carpooling (where you and another student share driving duties in different vehicles) you may request a transferable permit which allows parking privileges for any of the registered vehicles on an alternating basis.
Please register each vehicle on the application form.
Parking spaces are available for students with a valid Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Disabled Person Parking Permit and a valid Humber parking permit. To apply, please complete the appropriate details on the application form and attach a photocopy of both sides of the MOT permit. This type of parking cannot be applied for online – please apply in-person at Customer Service in the Office of the Registrar to show proof of MOT Disables Person Permit.
Students with a valid Humber parking permit, who have a temporary health or disability problem, may apply for a special Medical Parking Permit. A doctor's medical certificate is required. The special permit is non-renewable and is valid for a maximum of two months. Medical Permit holders are not allowed to park in designated disabled parking spaces.
Motorcycle parking is restricted to designated areas and a permit is required to park the vehicle on campus. Please complete the appropriate section on the application.
If you regularly drive a full-sized vehicle and only drive a motorcycle on occasion, a Motorcycle Parking Permit can be requested at no extra charge when you purchase your vehicle permit. Simply indicate the motorcycle as an additional vehicle on the application form.
Students who live in residence and require parking should purchase a parking permit valid for your campus. Space will be assigned accordingly. This permit allows overnight parking privileges.
If you live in residence, but only drive a vehicle to the campus on an infrequent basis, parking can be arranged at the Residence Front Desk.
