Nine Humber students were recognized among the top 25 finalists in the Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) Student Competition.
Nominated students from the Graphic Design (Advanced Diploma), Advertising and Graphic Design, Bachelor of Arts – Creative Advertising and Advertising Copywriting programs include: Nimo Awil, Shiran Teitelbaum and Mira Metter, Dave Thornhill, Kelly Uman, Linna Chang, Rony Mikhael, Lena Lee and Jessica Schnurr.
The judges have picked five winners from the 25 finalists, which will be announced live at the annual awards show on November 4, 2010.
The grand prize winner will receive $1,000, while the four runners-up will each receive $500.
“The judges were extremely impressed with the overall quality of the submissions, so selecting the winners was a challenging task. The fact that a total of 25 pieces were accepted into the show is a testament to the excellent work that is coming out of Canada’s Advertising, Design and Interactive programs,” said Michelle Ovcaric, The Advertising & Design Club of Canada.
