L space Gallery connects students and community

October 5, 2012

Humber is bringing more culture to the Lakeshore community with the official launch of the L space Gallery.

Ashley Watson, the gallery curator, believes that having a versatile space will appeal to both Humber and the surrounding community.

"We're not going to limit ourselves to artwork on the walls," says Watson. "We want to be as moveable and multidisciplinary as possible. There is so much diversity at Humber and in the community and we want to be able to showcase it all."

"We've already hosted the Ad Centre, the Humber Art Show and a South Etobicoke Youth Assembly photography group," says Watson.

This month, the gallery is showcasing the creative outputs of the School of Media Studies and Information Technology faculty.

With hours from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, The L space Gallery is open to the public with free admission unless otherwise noted.
