Lakeshore Campus gets cultured

Date:
September 18, 2012

Humber’s Lakeshore campus is an inspiring place– after all, it’s where actors, directors, musicians, fashion designers, and writers all come to learn their crafts.

From September 28-30, though, the culture meter ratchets up a notch or two as the Lakeshore campus participates in Culture Days, an arts festival taking place in cities across Canada.

From music students performing an outdoor concert on Friday night to a behind-the-scenes look at Humber’s film studios on Saturday morning, the weekend is designed to highlight both the beauty of the Lakeshore campus and the unique talents within the Humber community.

Other highlights include drawing workshops, film screenings at the L space Gallery, and an Aboriginal pow wow and dance demonstration.

All events are free and open to the public, although some require pre-registration.

For a full schedule of events, and to register for workshops and tours, please go to the Humber Culture Days page.
