After serving as a Music Production professor for the past three years, Steve Bellamy has been named the new associate dean in the School of Creative & Performing Arts.
"I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with students, faculty and staff in the School of Creative & Performing Arts. These nationally and internationally recognized programs work tirelessly to embody creative thought through writing, publishing, theatre, music, acting and comedy and I'm looking forward to supporting their continued success,” says Bellamy.
He has taught at The Banff Centre, the University of Hartford, Marianopolis College and McGill University. Bellamy also has his own music production company, which produces classical and jazz, along with ample arts administration experience from the Banff School of Fine Arts.
Bellamy has a Bachelor of Music from the University of PEI and his Master of Music from McGill University.
