Humber’s Renee Yip and Raymond Wong captured the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) National Championship gold medal in badminton.
After losing two of their first three matches, Humber came back with four straight wins, including a win over the national champions from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in the semi finals.
Rene Yip and her teammate Charlie Lay both picked up All Canadian awards, while Lam Trinh and Michael Kopinak were honoured with the CCAA’s National Coach of the Year.
