Workshops are FREE and are open to everyone, but space is limited so please register if you will be attending. You do not need to bring an instrument to the workshop.
There will be a workshop each day from 11:00am-12:00pm:
Jazz Improvisation with Alex Dean
During this 1-hour session Alex Dean will perform and discuss improvisation from a rhythmic perspective, ways to memorize tunes, and different approaches to linear and digital improvisation.
Alex will answer any questions about jazz and his 35 years as a professional musician and educator in Canada. Come watch, listen and ask questions.
NO instruments required.
