Academic Year

2016-2017

State-of-the-art digital system design practice requires the knowledge of digital principles, programmable hardware, and advanced software tools. In this course, the student will be introduced to the structures of typical programmable hardware (such as PLDs, CPLDs, FPGAs) and the industry-standard VHDL programming language. He/she will learn to design, simulate, synthesize and implement typical combinational and sequential circuits in a Xilinx CPLD target device.
