BRTV 310 Camera or Lighting introduces students to the skills and equipment required for shooting a pilot episode of a television series while on location. Students are exposed to best practices for creating finished visuals for a television program. They build on their EFP and ENG production experience from BRTV 110 and BRTV 210, using a single camera to create the effect of a multi-camera shoot. Students are also introduced to more advanced lighting tools and techniques suitable for working in small crews. They learn the fundamentals of digital production formats and workflows. This course is largely hands-on with a focus on project-based learning with both individual and group consultation with the instructor.
