Course Description
This course is the first of two that will provide a scientific foundation for understanding the mechanisms by which the body functions. Physiology 1 will begin by introducing general terms and concepts in physiology with a focus on homeostasis. Modules on the structure and function of the cell, energy metabolism, and the physiology of the muscular, nervous and cardiovascular systems will be explored.
