When I’m asked what makes Humber special, my response is simple. First, the quality of our faculty, and second, the broad spectrum of programs we offer—each designed to meet the needs and career interests of individual students and their specific education path. As a result, our faculty and students excel in programs in the areas of business, applied technology, media studies, liberal arts and sciences, social and community services, health sciences, hospitality, recreation and lifestyle promotion, and creative and performing arts.
In addition, Humber offers a vibrant campus life featuring top varsity teams, leading-edge facilities and Centres of Excellence along with student support services to help students achieve their goals. Most importantly, our students demonstrate success after they graduate. The Humber community is comprised of 27,500 full-time and 56,000 continuing education registrants across three campuses. Our students, faculty and staff contribute to the local communities and there are many volunteer opportunities and ways to celebrate Humber’s diversity. We maintain an international focus in our curriculum wherever appropriate and we welcome international students from more than 80 countries. We offer a growing number of study-abroad options and we work in partnership with national and internationally based institutions.
