Opening Ceremonies |
Kicking your school year off to a great start will begin with our Opening Ceremonies! You will be welcomed by the President of Humber and the President of the Humber Students' Federation(HSF). From the Opening Ceremonies, you will be assigned to a Orientation Leader who will take you to meet your faculty. |

Meet Your Faculty |
Have a question about your program or are your curious about what books you need to purchase? This is your chance to meet with your fellow future classmates, get your schedule (if you haven't already done so on srs.humber.ca) and have fun! |

HSF Lunch |
FREE FOOD!! What gets better than that? The HSF Lunch is your chance to meet your Humber Student government and get to know your new classmates! |

Campus Tours |
Get to know your school. Find out where the library, Career Centre, Health Centre, Athletics and Wellness Centres, and more are located. Your Orientation Leader will help you answer any questions you may have about getting around Campus. |

We have TONS of afternoon activities to keep you busy. Make the most out of your Orientation experience and get involved in any of the following:
Mature Students' Session(25yrs+): 1:30 pm
Humber's population is diverse with people from all walks of life. We understand your concerns about getting back into "student mode". Be sure to attend our Mature Students' Session to learn how to cope with being a mature student in post-secondary environment. Learn about options for financial aid, studying tips and general tips on entering post-secondary.
IT Services Session: 1:30pm & 2:30pm
Learn about all things technical here at Humber. Attend this session if you're unsure of how to log into Blackboard, SRS, or even requesting your student card.
Time Management Workshop: 1:30pm & 2:30pm
This practical workshop introduces students to the many challenges and solutions in managing our time well in today’s busy world. Student will learn to use and apply avariety of time management solutions and identify their own time wasters and bad habits.
Study Skills Workhop: 1:30pm & 2:30pm
Getting ready for the exam period can feel stressful. In this informative workshop,
students will evaluate their own study skills and discover some of the best practices and
strategies for studying efficiently and effectively.
