The Internet and digital photography have radically altered all facets of the photographic industry. Two of the most popular online catalogues of stock photography have more than three-million digital photos available for purchase. At the same time, thousands of websites, e-books, e-zines, and other online publications have joined the hundreds of print publications in North America that are constantly searching for good photography to illustrate their content. Now is the time to turn your passion for photography into a well-paying career. Graduates work in diverse areas of the photographic industry. Many students set up and operate their own freelance businesses and studios.
