A bridging semester that will help you acquire the academic background required for degree-level studies is your first step toward preparing for your career as a world-class musician.
As part of Humber's mandate to provide students with greater accessibility and flexibility to pursue baccalaureate degree completion, Humber has developed a bridging program for the Bachelor of Applied Music - Contemporary Music degree. This bridging program allows qualified applicants with a minimum of two years of college to bridge into the start of the third year of our four-year Bachelor of Applied Music - Contemporary Music degree program.
The curriculum may vary slightly by student based on previous education. The curriculum of the degree program combines the latest recording technologies and entrepreneurial business strategies with courses in performance, production, songwriting, and composition in jazz, pop, R&B, Latin, and world music.
