Eight semesters, beginning in September, plus one paid work term
Humber's four-year Bachelor of Commerce – e-Business Marketing degree combines the most recent technology practices with traditional business subjects, preparing you to succeed in a highly competitive business environment. By graduation, students will have skills in:
E-business includes the processes of buying, selling, transferring/exchanging products, services, information and funds via computer network. It also includes servicing customers, collaborating with business partners, and conducting electronic transactions within an organization.
This is a business degree, beginning with two years of marketing, accounting, operations, economics and law. In years three and four, you will work toward your specialization, with courses such as e-Business Information Systems and Technology, CRM and Data Mining, e-Marketing, and Database Systems. You will gain information and communications technology (ICT) skills in business programs, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) software, web development languages and software, e-commerce courses and quality control.

Begin your career in business with a Bachelor of Commerce – e-Business Marketing degree from Humber.
According to the Canadian government’s Working in Canada website, "the emergence of digital media has been one area of growth for sales, marketing and advertising managers. With businesses going global, these professionals are needed to cater to both domestic and foreign consumer groups. The development of e-commerce has given sales, marketing and advertising managers the opportunity to reach wider audiences through innovative advertising and marketing strategies."
Humber e-Business Marketing graduates work in various careers, including market analyst, e-marketing specialist, product manager, distribution manager, purchaser/buyer, operations manager, quality supervisor, Internet marketer, web developer, content manager and online support. Graduates with an e-business degree will have the potential to be promoted to mid-level management positions within five to ten years.
Employers of Humber e-Business Marketing graduates include a number of Toronto and southern Ontario companies and organizations, including Adidas, Bank of Montreal, Loblaw Companies Ltd., Ontario Ministry of Government Services, Bell Canada, Summitt Energy, Taro Pharmaceuticals, Tetley, TD Canada Trust, Home Depot, public service and not-for-profit organizations, small- and medium-sized businesses in manufacturing, services, and consulting companies.

Students find, with support from Humber, one full semester of paid work placement in the summer between semesters six and seven. This gives students the hands-on experience that employers desire.

Applicants who do not meet the above admission requirements should consider applying for Humber's Business Administration advanced diploma program, Business Management diploma program or Business – Marketing diploma program.
Graduates of the Business Administration advanced diploma program with an overall grade point average (GPA) of 70 per cent or more will be considered for admission to Humber's Bachelor of Commerce degree program. Graduates may then complete the degree program with the equivalent of four semesters of full-time study plus a paid work term. Graduates must also possess ENG4U, Humber's COMM 200/WRIT 100 or COMM 300/WRIT 200 with a grade of 70 per cent or more, plus any Grade 12U-level Mathematics or Humber's BMAT 220/BMAT 120 and BSTA 300/BSTA 200 with an average grade of 70 per cent or more.
Graduates of the Business Management and Business – Marketing diploma with an overall GPA of 75 per cent or more will be considered for admission to Humber's Bachelor of Commerce degree program. Graduates may then complete the degree program with the equivalent of six semesters of full-time study plus a paid work term. Graduates must also possess ENG4U, Humber's COMM 200/WRIT 100 or COMM 300/WRIT 200 with a grade of 70 per cent or more, plus any Grade 12U-level Mathematics or Humber's BMAT 220/BMAT 120 and BSTA 300/BSTA 200 with an average grade of 70 per cent or more.

Upon completion of the first two years of a Humber Bachelor of Commerce degree program, students may specialize in one of the following areas instead of e-Business Marketing: Accounting, Fashion Management, Finance, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, International Business, Management Studies, Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
Note: A one-hour non-credit course, Business Career Development, is delivered in Semester 5 to support students in obtaining a paid work term.

Humber has been granted a consent by the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities to offer this degree for a seven-year term starting April 21, 2005, which was extended to December 31, 2014. In conformity with the Minister’s criteria and requirements, Humber will submit an application for the renewal of the consent for this program 12 months prior to the expiration of the consent. Humber will ensure that all students admitted to this program will have the opportunity to complete the program within a reasonable time frame.
