Humber Hosts R.I.D.E. Launch

Toronto, Ontario – November 23, 2011 - Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning invites you to join police officers from across Ontario for the launch of the 2011/2012 holiday R.I.D.E. Checks (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program – a campaign to raise awareness of the importance of not driving impaired.

Marking its fifth annual return to the R.I.D.E program is the State Farm R.I.D.E Checks Rewards Booklet. R.I.D.E Checks Rewards supports the efforts of police services in the Greater Toronto Area by giving them booklets to make available to citizens, either at roadside spot checks or for pick up at their nearest police facility. The R.I.D.E. Checks Rewards Booklet details the penalties associated with drinking and driving and includes money saving coupons. For more information on R.I.D.E Checks and R.I.D.E.
