Humber hosts 6th annual Science and Technology Showcase

Toronto, ON – November 3, 2011 – Humber will host the sixth annual Polytechnics Canada Science and Technology Showcase on November 8 at its North Campus. The Showcase will feature presentations by student teams designed to innovate Canadian industry, and a keynote address by the Honourable Diane Finley, federal Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development. The event will show how forward-thinking post-secondary institutions work alongside small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to solve practical research, development and commercialization problems.

  • Feature case studies of industry-driven research projects involving students and faculty
  • Feature testimonials from industry leaders who have benefited from research services
  • Highlight the importance of polytechnic research in developing graduates as industry Innovation leaders
