Adult Keelboat Programs

Humber College offers two beginner keelboat programs as well as a refresher course.

The Introduction to Keelboat Sailing course is designed to give the new student a relaxed, pleasant exposure to sailing. It is  a Canadian Yachting Association course but is not a prerequisite to the Basic Keelboat Cruising course, but rather a way to experience sailing for the first time. All of the course is spent on the water.

The Basic Keelboat Cruising Course is also a first course in keelboat sailing, but it is much more extensive than the Introduction course. As well, there is a theory component. This course is a Canadian Yachting Association recognized course.

Basic Keelboat Cruising Refresher will quickly refresh you and allow you a chance to practice a number of your Basic Keelboat Cruising skills.
