TEAM BUILD... ENTERTAIN CLIENTS...
WE WILL TAILOR ACTIVITIES TO MEET YOUR COMPANY OBJECTIVES.

Educate, Entertain and Reward your staff or clients with Humber’s innovative Corporate Sail & Learn Program. Develop employee interaction or improve customer relationships through tailored sailing activities.
Sailing a boat safely and competently requires a skipper and crew who work together towards a common goal. For employees, sailing is a great way to build team confidence and cooperation. Add in fun races with against colleagues, performance recognition ceremony and celebratory barbecue and your staff will be talking about their new experiences for weeks.
If you want to thank a key client, or develop a closer relationship with an important customer, we offer a casual environment where you can work together as you learn or enahnce your sailing skills? You choose the pace, and we will ensure you achieve your goals.

The Humber Sailing Centre has conducted many Corporate Sail & Learn programs, with groups of between four and 65 people. A typical full-day group program starts with a continental breakfast at the Sailing Centre in Humber Bay. Following a safety briefing our Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) certified instructors conduct a threehour on-water training session as we sail to the Toronto Islands. After a catered barbecue lunch on shore we have a series of short races in the afternoon where everyone gets an opportunity to put their newly acquired sailing skills into practice. Races require the crews to work together to maximize their boat’s performance. New talents are discovered and new skills emerge in tackling these common experiences in a competitive environment.
For smaller groups, a full-day program consists of a sail around the Toronto Islands under the supervision of one of our certified instructors. Participants will learn about a variety of basic sailing skills and theory. Options for lunch on the board or on shore are available.
All on water activity takes place on our fleet of 30 ft. to 38 ft. keelboats. All boats are fully equipped with all required safety equipment, and are skippered by a CYA certified instructor, who conducts sailing training.
We are pleased to tailor programs to accommodate your goals.
