V.H.F. Radio Operators Certificate - Marine

It is illegal to operate a Marine V.H.F. Radio without a licence. This short two-evening course will cover all aspects of V.H.F. Radio operation. Course includes DSC endorsement.

Toronto Harbour License (Powered Vessel Operator’s permit)

Recreational boaters operating a powered vessel within the Port and Harbour of  Toronto must be in possession of  BOTH a Powered Vessel Operator’s permit and a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.

This is a testing night only. Upon registration, students may receive the appropriate study material by calling the Humber Sailing and Powerboating Centre (416-252-7291) and on the evening of the program, a short exam will be written and marked. Students will then demonstrate simple boat handling skills using the Centre's 16' Lund powerboat.
