David Flaherty is an accomplished writer whose extensive comic experience has led him from independent film to award-winning variety, sketch and sitcom programs. As a producer and writer, he has had the privilege of working with legendary talents and his body of work has appeared on most major television networks. Among his credits are the Emmy Award-winning SCTV and the celebrated George Lucas series Maniac Mansion. David continues to work on special projects. He is the artistic director of the popular Comic Script Writing by Correspondence Program at Humber.
