96.9 Radio Humber Celebrates 45 Years of Excellence in Canadian Radio

2017 marks 45 years of the Radio Humber Broadcasting Program at Toronto’s Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. To commemorate the occasion, we will be inducting three respected and accomplished alumni from the Radio Humber program on March 24, 2017 at Humber College’s North Campus.  To nominate a Radio Humber alumnus or associate alumnus for consideration, please visit radio.humber.ca/radio-humber-hall-of-fame/nominate.html. The successful honourees will be announced in mid-February, with a celebration to follow at Humber College. The Radio Broadcasting Diploma Program was founded in 1972 by legendary CHUM broadcaster, Phil Stone. It has educated and trained over 3,000 students during its 45 year span. Current members of the Radio Humber Hall of Fame include radio and television broadcasters George Stroumboulopoulos, Roz Weston and Sid Seixeiro; retired Vice President of News, Rogers Radio – John Hinnen, and iHeart Radio Canada’s Rob Farina.
