What is CCR?

Humber and University of Guelph-Humber’s Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is a record of skill development outside of the classroom. It’s an easy way to show all the Co-Curricular experiences you've completed on campus such as workshops, training, volunteering, and more! The CCR Portal is home to a database of hundreds of CCR Certified experiences available each academic year. Search the CCR based on skills you want to develop, when you’re available, or where you want them to take place.

Log-in with your MyHumber credentials or visit our Search for Experiences Web Page to find tips on getting involved. Check out our "All About CCR" video below to find out more on how we support you in your skill development.

Building your Skills - The Competency Framework

CCR Certified experiences can help you develop up to 46 transferable skills for employment including Leadership, Mentoring, Professionalism, and Emotional Intelligence. You can also showcase these skills on your printed CCR Record. To view the entire list of transferable skills available in CCR Certified experiences, visit our Competency Framework web page or watch our informational video below.

Showcasing your Skills - The Co-Curricular Record/Certificate

The CCR is a great addition to a job/internship application, scholarships/bursary requests, award nominations, and as an additional piece in your portfolio. Once you have completed a CCR experience, request it to be added to your record which you can later customize and print as many times as you want. For more information on how to present your CCR during an interview or use it for your career development, visit our CCR & Your Career Web Page. Watch our instructional video below on how to print your CCR.

The CCR Timeline - Important Dates & Deadlines

The CCR year starts on May 1st until April 30th of each year. This means the last day to add any CCR Certified experiences you participated in for the current year (May to April), needs to be added before the April 30th deadline. As a student, it is your responsibility to add any experience you’ve completed before this deadline. Any experience(s) you participated in before the current time period cannot be retroactively added.
