From Intention to Action is a program designed to help students who are feeling overwhelmed develop better strategies for academics and well-being.
If you are ready to make positive changes, we can help you realize your potential and build a plan that will contribute to your success.
A 12-week plan for success
Every week for 12 weeks, you will meet one-on-one with your own FITA Coordinator. After helping you identify your particular strengths and challenges, you will work through a plan of action specifically designed for you. *There is no cost to participate.
Your FITA Coordinator can help with:
- learning strategies
- time management
- stress management
- coping skills
- goal setting
- decreasing test anxiety
- supportive counselling
- educational planning
How do you get started?
This program is open to any student who feels overwhelmed. However, only students who are able to demonstrate in an interview that they are ready to make a change and who can commit to meeting regularly will be accepted.
If it turns out that the program doesn’t fit your needs or schedule, we will work together to direct you to the best supports for your situation.
