Students living in Residence
Students living on campus have the greatest opportunity make your footprint more sustainable. Please consider:
- Making sure your window is closed in the winter
- Turning your lights and computer off when you leave the room.
- Keeping your showers to a reasonable length of time. Hot water leaves a large environmental footprint behind.
Students visiting campus
Students just on campus for classes have less opportunity, but there are still things you can do. Please consider:
- How do you get to campus? Public transit, cycling and car pooling all reduce your footprint on the planet.
- Please turn off computer and other equipment when you are finished
- Use the recycling system provided
- Use the water fountains instead of buying bottled water. Many are now equipped with bottle fillers so you can use your own reusable bottle.
