Are you interested in improving your facilitation and leadership skills?
Are you studying in The Business School, the School of Health Sciences, the School of Applied Technology, or the Child and Youth Worker Program?
As a TAP leader you will have the weekly responsibility of working with a group of new first generation students on campus as a mentor and guide. First generation students are students who are the first in their immediate family to attend post-secondary education. You will plan and facilitate workshops and social activities, all with the goal of helping students achieve academic success!
You will play an important role in helping First Generation students feel connected to the campus and their academic program.
This is a paid position and training will be provided and is a requirement.
