The Addictions and Mental Health fair was started by the founding class of the Addictions and Mental Health Post Graduate Certificate Program in 2015. The goal was to create a school event that would unite students, staff, and agencies on the realities of addiction and mental health issues in our community.
This year the students are continuing the tradition and working in groups to present topics that are relevant and important to Humber students. Booths will display common misconceptions, data, resources, and also have interactive components and prizes. Some of the topics include self-care, harm-reduction, and concurrent disorders.
The Addictions and Mental Health class would like to extend an invitation to all staff, faculty, students, and community members to attend the Second Annual Addictions and Mental Health Fair on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 11AM-1PM in the “Blue Room," B Building.
