The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team celebrates their 10th consecutive championship win

Ten times lucky?

It appears so for the Humber Hawks women's volleyball team, who on Sunday won their 10th championship in a row.

They captured the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) title with a sweep over the Durham College team. It was the 130th consecutive OCAA victory for all the Hawks teams, who finished 21-0 in OCAA play for the sixth consecutive season.

The volleyball win capped off a weekend that began on a high, when Humber women's volleyball freshman Breanna Golding was named the 2016 OCAA Rookie of the Year. Fellow players Alexandra NewmanDevan O'Connor and Gabie Miletic were also named OCAA All-Stars.

The women's volleyball team plays in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association championship tournament at British Columbia's Camosun College from March 8-12.
