At last night's Grammy Awards, Humber music faculty member and alumnus Larnell Lewis won the award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album with his band Snarky Puppy. This is the band's second Grammy win. In 2014, Snarky Puppy won Best R&B Performance for the song Something.
Lewis, a drummer and producer, has performed with Jully Black, Matt Dusk, Glenn Lewis, Laila Biali and many others. During his time at Humber he won the Oscar Peterson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
