At first glance, LX109 at the North Campus looks like a chic lounge – leather couches, a stone fireplace, and a muted, sophisticated colour scheme.

Then you notice the laptops.

Turns out LX109 is Humber's newest eLink space, a hybrid hangout/wired workspace designed to allow students to relax, study, collaborate, complete assignments – or simply stare into the fire.

Five other eLink spaces, which are built and operated in partnership with the Humber Students’ Federation, are located across the North and Lakeshore Campuses.

IT Services will officially open the LX109 eLink facility, which has been available to students since August, 2012, on Monday, November 12 at 2:00, with a small informal celebration. All are welcome to attend.
