Winning Big at the Virtual Skills Ontario & National Competitions!

We are proud to announce that seven Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology - Humber College students earned two gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the Virtual Skills Ontario Competition Closing Ceremony on May 13!

We also want to congratulate Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology - Humber College students Nickolas de Boer & Mark Gunja won GOLD in Mechatronics Post Secondary Level at the Skills / Compétences Canada Virtual National Competition on June 15th 2021! We also applaud Skills Ontario Team Ontario for bringing home a whopping 20+ medals!

Humber College is no stranger to Skills Ontario and has applauded many FAST students throughout the years for their hard work and dedication to the competitions. It is an incredible honour to participate in this annual event and we congratulate all of our FAST students who qualified for this year’s Skills Ontario Competition!

It takes a village to help our students prepare for this competition and we greatly appreciate all of the coaches, educators, staff and faculty who helped our students compete during a very challenging year.

The Barrett CTI wants to give a special acknowledgement to our Skills Coach Mateusz for his hard work preparing our competitors.
