This course will dive into the foundations of UV mapping and 3D texturing principles. Students will become familiar with industry standard software such as Substance Painter and become accustomed to the workflows and practices of painting maps and building shaders. Students will develop an eye for spotting details and be able to further analyse breakdowns of texture maps and final lookdevs.
