Students will be introduced to the important role management accountants play in guiding an organization towards achieving its objectives. The management control system and techniques to support the organization's strategies and risk management needs are core components of the course. Students will explore topics including corporate governance, performance measurement and evaluation. Agency theory and ethical considerations are integrated into these topics to provide a deeper understanding of behaviour and moral management.
