This course provides students with experience in maintaining computerized accounting records using continuously updated cloud accounting software - QuickBooks Online to create a new company; set up a chart of accounts, suppliers, customers, and inventory & Service items; record daily accounting transactions using General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable; manage banking, products & services, budgets, projects; track time, class and location; perform month-end and year-end processing and generate reports. It also covers basic accounting principles, accounting cycle steps, and what happens behind the scenes in QuickBooks Online.
