This course offers students the history, key theories, concepts and tasks of public relations as a dynamic, constantly changing profession that communicates and builds positive relationships with many stakeholders and aims to balance strategic objectives with public expectations. Students will examine and discuss major definitions, models, principles, perspectives and practices to identify the objectives of public relations. They will also analyze the scope and variety of the profession and the main tasks of public relations professionals in corporate, non-profit, agency and government sectors as well as major trends and developments.
