The field of addictions and mental health is constantly evolving in response to current events, political changes and new research. It is essential for practitioners to be able to understand and critically analyze existing and emerging issues. In this course students examine current issues and summarize their etiology and contemporary context and analyze ethical, legal, policy, community development, and research responses to them.
