This course continues the work of Acting for Camera 1 by further exploring classic realist acting techniques with added emphasis on various approaches to working with scripted materials. Multiple approaches to stimulating and disciplining the dramatic imagination will be emphasized throughout the term, including but not limited to exercises, scene study, monologues, improvisation, tutorials and script analysis. Students will be introduced to the basic technical aspects of camera acting such as hitting marks, scene coverage, continuity, and working out of sequence.
