Together, they introduce students to fundamental acting techniques and work on the actors instrument - emotions, intellect, creativity, and discipline. In this course, students take first steps towards text analysis and preparation of a role intention, expectations, obstacles, and circumstances. They explore the relationship of the role to the script; and focus on finding the truth of the moment in terms of the role, the play, and the production.
