This course orients the student to movement techniques for the actor. Students will explore and gain expressivity through movement improvisation with a focus on the connection between motion and human emotion. To support this skill development students will gain a working knowledge of the mechanics of the moving body through functional anatomy and the vocabulary used in consent-based practices for stage and film.
