Building on Voice Fundamentals this course will continue to explore and promote vocal freedom and precision through established and emerging techniques. In the Speech module the focus is on developing the student's speech technically and creatively. Students will be introduced to the International Phonetic Alphabet as a tool to understand their own 'personal dialect'. Using a variety of voice and speech exercises, the student will foster a growing awareness of their voice and speech habits and will learn how to adjust and modulate these to achieve greater vocal presence and clarity.
