This course is designed to focus on the principles, operation, and integration of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial networks in the context of industrial automation. Industry best practices and emerging trends in automation are woven throughout the course. Students work with industry-standard software and hardware platforms, gaining practical skills to apply to real-world systems. By the end of the course, students will acquire comprehensive experience of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks, to implement and maintain robust automation systems.
