This course provides students with tools to enhance their leadership abilities in an engineering context. Students examine the personal attributes that impact leadership style. Focused on leading multi-disciplinary teams, the course builds leadership skills to improve performance, productivity, and total quality through modern project management, change management, and supply chain management strategies. Topics include team building, empowerment, and the development of strategic vision, with the goal of providing a framework for understanding how to leverage personal attributes and knowledge to become a more effective leader.
