We know that the internet is changing the way organizations communicate, promote, price, research and distribute products and services. As digital marketing channels grow, so do the number of solutions to client marketing and advertising issues. This course examines the role of digital media within the marketing and sales environment so that students will have a comprehensive understanding of the entire range of digital options available and be equipped to sell digital media to complement and integrate with traditional media plans or as a stand-alone digital media channel. The course will include digital nomenclature/terminology, applications, measurement criteria, pricing and selling strategies. Students will learn how to write concise, effective and persuasive written digital media sales proposals based on client information and objectives. The emphasis will be placed on using digital solutions to satisfy client/prospect needs.
