This course examines the use of compressed air as a power and control medium. The focus is to select industrially used pneumatic and electrical hardware to design pneumatic systems. Students will learn to design and build simple sequencing control circuits using pneumatic-control and electrical-control components, gain an understanding of the nature of idea gasses and learn the principles of vacuum systems.
