Robotics 2

Course Code: ATMN 210

Academic Year: 2024-2025

This course covers advanced robotics topics required for industrial automations such as robot modeling for position and orientation, control and safety circuits, advanced programming, and special features of robots based on the fundamentals covered in Robotics 1. These concepts include system configurations and applications, power transmission focusing on servo control, types of programming and control, tooling and interfacing with peripherals focusing on I/O control, and feedback devices. Assignments using numerous industrial robots in the laboratory are used for practical application of the programming concepts. Online teaching tools and research assignments are used to enhance the learning process by enabling the instructor to spend more time in individual contact with the students in the laboratory.
