This course offers a hands-on introduction to the core literary forms of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and drama (stage and screen). Through a series of writing exercises and assignments, lectures and assigned readings/listenings/viewings, students analyze and apply a variety of approaches to writing creatively while developing skills in reading widely and critically.
