Storytelling Matters: Social & Digital Media

In this advanced digital and social media course, students examine new media storytelling principles for newsletters, reports, podcasts, video scripting and other forms. Students practice planning large-scale campaigns on behalf of a brand and they learn how to creatively repurpose content. They also develop a crisis management strategy and learn how to respond to online negativity. They expand the knowledge and practical skills required to create detailed content strategies that will leverage social media platforms and other forms of digital media. Metrics are used to evaluate the success of digital strategy campaigns.
