This is the first of two courses designed to give students practical learning experiences in producing content for television and additional media formats. Students will learn how to read scripts from a production stand-point including how to assess the logistical and budgetary aspects. Students will work in groups to simulate real production office workflows using existing content. Through a study of the different roles on set, students will come away with a greater understanding of the larger TV industry and their place within it.
