This course allows students to work on their own projects, fostering self-directed exploration and innovation under professor supervision. It provides them the opportunity to synthesize previous course work across the discipline and apply knowledge and techniques to a visual project. Students will work independently and in groups to create a plan and execute the filming and delivery of their own work. Upon completion of the course, students will come out with an understanding of all aspects of production including camera placement and blocking; performance; look and pace; logistical, technical, and artistic problem-solving; and managing time, finances, and people.
